Drone show

One of the major milestones for VEG in the year 2023 is its "entry" into the drone show market. The fleet, which is considered significant even on a European scale, consists of 500 units. This enables the execution of world-class, spectacular, and self-de

The selected new generation drones of the Kaiken type were specifically developed for choreographing spectacular light shows. The 500+ lumen LEDs are visible from kilometers away. They have a robust design, yet weigh only 270 grams, including the weight of the batteries. By comparison, an average mobile phone weighs 150-200 grams. The batteries provide 25 minutes of flight time, of which the average duration of the show, known as "dance" in technical terms, is 5-10 minutes.

To operate the drone fleet, professional software is required, along with ground support and communication units. In addition to the 4-5-person control team, there is also an assisting crew responsible for the proper placement of the drones in predetermined positions. Apart from these tasks, the preparation work, drone show animations, transitions between them, and the choreography of takeoff and landing are handled by a separate team using the DroneShowSoftware control software.

Visual Europe Production's video department, in collaboration with the Creative Studio, handles this exciting area filled with new challenges. With hundreds of test flights behind them, the team is well-prepared for their first live performances, which will begin with the summer festival season. They have planned exciting shows for both the Balaton Sound and Sziget Festivals.

Drone shows are a fantastic form of "sky marketing" and an environmentally friendly alternative or complement to fireworks. They are suitable for entertaining large crowds and can be a unique visual element for any festival, corporate or private event, product launch, brand campaign, and more. The show is built from pre-programmed elements, allowing for the creation of custom shapes, logos, or even low-resolution "sky displays" with the creativity of 500 moving drones and 16 million colors at their disposal.

The team has several exciting projects planned for the summer. The ultimate goal is to perform simultaneously at two locations.
