Metaverzum/VR

Metaverzum Showroom and Workshop

he booth appeared as a separate structure built within the conference or exhibition space, consisting of multiple hexagonal VR booths and a room for the technology and support staff.

During the conference or exhibition, we offered three metaverse program elements to the participants:

  • In our virtual studio set up in Recroom, we conducted interviews with applicants.
  • From the conference stage, we live-streamed roundtable discussions on Facebook from Horizon Workroom.
  • In Zeneverzum, we showcased 360-degree music VR videos with spatial audio.

What made our booth unique was the use of professional AV methods to broadcast live feeds and create videos from virtual worlds. In addition to the audio systems of the VR programs, we set up a professional sound system with wireless microphones and an independent monitor system to deliver excellent sound quality, surpassing the typical low-quality audio in VR games.

We connected the VR world's visuals, virtual cameras capturing the perspectives of the four participants wearing VR headsets, two cameras showing the real world, and occasionally an additional computer's screen to the 8-channel video mixer. In real-time, we edited the videos from different perspectives and, within 4-5 minutes after recording, processed them to create the final videos, which were then uploaded to the cloud. These 16:9 and 1:1 aspect ratio videos were immediately usable by the agency for social media.

Experiences:
In 2022, we set up our metaverse project at the Internet Hungary and Brand Fest conferences. The system performed well overall, and our booth received positive feedback from everyone. Over the course of two days, we gained valuable insights that will help us improve our next appearance.
