Avatar band of live musicians
Music Insert is a show element that can be used to make various stage productions and talk shows more colorful. Music Insert is a virtual band appearing on a LED wall or any other display. Its members play music not as a linear video, but dynamically, with the push of a button, variably, including improvisational elements, as if they were a real band. The length of the production can be changed as desired, only the very beginning and the very end are fixed. The middle part can be of any length, it can also contain different instrumental solos, which the operator (e.g. the sound or lighting technician) can vary as he likes. No musical expertise is required for operation, the system is designed in such a way that each musical unit always matches the tone and time of the one preceding and following it in both image and sound.
In addition to the dynamically playable song, the system can also play different cues and transition music, e.g. the band can also crack jokes, or play an ominous sound when something goes wrong on stage, etc.
The current content of Music Insert is jazz-style talk show music composed by composer Gábor Subicz. We recorded the sound with four musicians at the Pannónia Studio, where video recording and motion tracking were also done. We created the avatars of the musicians from these raw materials and animated them.
The project can be expanded with new content and genres as desired. In this case, only the costs of content development have to be taken into account. The project can be cost-effectively extended to other genres in addition to current jazz, e.g. Pop, Rap/Hip-hop, EDM, etc.
It is possible to brand the content. In addition to visual elements, this also applies to musical elements (e.g. unique advertising music, company logo, audio signal, etc.)
It is possible to mix the avatar musicians with real ones, or for example the system can be used as a backing band for a singing soloist or rapper. The virtual background behind the musicians can be changed as desired.
